There is so much money to go around in this world. A few days ago I wrote about a guy who got over $37,000 for "renting" out his forehead space to a company called SnoreStop. Now there is an even bigger moneymaker; get a high profile company to use your photo on their product without permission.
A kindergarten teacher in California has done just that. He was a model who posed for Taster's Choice coffee back in 1986, but figured he didn't get the contract, until he saw the coffee label with his picture on it, being sold in stores.
Nineteen years later, a jury has awarded the man a $15.6 million settlement, and he can sure buy a lot of coffee with that.
That's an expensive sip!
