iPod on the Road
This week Rachel and I have changed the way we travel, buying a used minivan (a '96 Grand Voyager) and an attachment for the iPod so that it connects by an FM transmitter to our car radio. We took a trip to our friends Miranda and Tavis's place in Summerland on Sunday after church, and it was great to have in the car, with a potential 7500 songs at our fingertips.
Speaking of iPods and their dominance, Microsoft is working on an "iPod killer" called Zune (see the Coming Zune website) to challenge the iPod, and we'll have to wait and see how it does (I think iPod has a pretty good headstart).
Last night's Young Life Summer Club was great, with the girls taking the guys in the California Kickball game, by a score of 18-17. A real naibiter, and some of the players may someday be good enough to join the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA). Next week we'll be having an intense game of Ultimate. Check out the YL North Okanagan site for a list of all summer events.
