What a great weekend we just had, very busy, with the 5km fun run on Saturday, the wind-up pool party at the Wensley's, our grade 12 friends from Kal Secondary graduating, and having to go to Pitt Meadows to play in the Young Life Ironman Gold Tournament all day on Monday. As I type this, I feel sore in the majority of the muscles in my body, since I don't think man was meant to golf that much in a day.
Probably the highlight of my weekend though, was my friend Joseph Ross getting baptized on Sunday. A whole bunch of us got to go see him get dunked on Sunday morning, and I felt honoured to be able to read a scripture at the service. Joseph dyed his hair for his school graduation, and it matched his tie perfectly (and his personality). One of the funnest guys I know, Joseph has a lot of years ahead of him to spread joy around the Okanagan (or wherever he goes).
