Always a fan of anything to promote the Okanagan (the most beautiful area in the most beautiful province in the most beautiful country in the world), I just found out that there will be a "mockumentary" being filmed in Kelowna starting in the fall. Called "The Beast of Bottomless Lake", the film's website hails it as "The Office" meets "Jacques Cousteau" with a little bit of "Jaws" thrown in for good measure.
Since The Office is my favourite TV show right now, we'll see how this film stacks up, especially against the other movie filmed in the Okanagan last summer, Fido (in which my sister Bethany happens to stand in for Carrie-Anne Moss in a couple of scenes where you see only the back of her head).
