I got word this week that I'm going to be able to play in the Young Life Ironman Golf Tournament in June. It's one hundred holes of golf in a day, and we'll take pledges so that people can donate to Young Life here in Vernon. I usually go out five times or so a year, so this will trump my usual golfing for a whole season, all in a day. Luckily, Rachel and I have a golf course right behind our condo, and we go walking all the time and find golf balls. In the Ironman, if I hit a ball out of bounds, I'm not looking for it, and I'll bring 30 balls on the round with me if I have to. I feel like I'm pretty out of shape these days, but by June, I'll be a well-oiled Ironman-golfing machine. Anyone want to sponsor a buck a hole?

To golf 100 holes in a day, it would help to be limber like PGA golfer Camilo Villegas.
