Zion is over a year old now, and we are loving being parents more and more every day. Not only is she looking at us intently and recognizing us, but she also has a few "tricks" up her sleeve that she can perform on command. There is the wave goodbye (pumping her hand as if she had a stress ball), fanning her arm when our smoke alarm goes off (quite often, since it is right over our oven, and we have to fan it to turn it off), giving us five, pointing at things and saying "Wazza?" in her cute little voice (which we interpret to mean "What's that?"), rolling over, and playing dead.
Quite a talented young girl, and I made a mosaic of her with photos from her first year (click on the mosaic to see it in a larger size). She is a wonderful one-year-old, and she is going to make a wonderful older sister too.

WOW! That's great news! COngratulations! So Rqachel just doesn't want to be back at work is that it? I don't blame her... :)
How did you do that mosaic thing? I would love to do that with some of Zoe's pics!

I used a free program for the Mac called MozoDojo, but there are a whole bunch of programs for Mac and PC. Just Google search "photo mosaic programs" and there will be a lot of them, although you have to register to use most of them. But they make great 8x11 prints.
