When you're twenty-six years old, almost twenty-seven, a wife and a mother, people expect you to act as an adult. Sometimes though, a person will regress to childhood and will do things that are unexpected. Exhibit A, Rachel White, who decided at our Young Life Club on Monday to challenge our friend Brittany to a race down the stairs headfirst. Brittany, who is in grade 12, won both times, and Rachel, perhaps slowed by her age, came out with a few scrapes. Sometimes we need to accept the fact that we're over the hill (click on the photo below to watch the video).

but acting like a kid is not only stress relieving but a lot of fun. i'm sure that you have a few good stories that demonstrate the fact that you're just a big kid yourself! (aren't we all at heart though)

ah mr. steve white i do recall a time where you dressed up in a pink too-too (sp?) in front of a couple hundred people and sang at the top of your lungs "i wish i was a younglife leader, but if i wasnt a young life leader a balerina i would be". so my mature friend, you too are but a kid at heart.

Coming from someone who hardly ever updates his own blog, it doesn't hold a lot of water. Plus, I was right in the middle of it when you wrote that.
