The plans are coming together for a big family reunion this summer in Scotch Creek on Shuswap Lake. Most of my mom's family lives in Ontario, and a lot of them are coming down. Although a lot of us live far apart, we're a pretty tight knit group and get-togethers are so much fun. Rachel still hasn't met a bunch of my aunts, uncles, and cousins, and Zion hasn't even met her second cousin Zoe. Zoe and Zion were born at almost the same time, and we're sure they're destined to be good friends. Zoe's parents, Steve and Sarah (my mom's sister Pat's oldest daughter...do you follow?), live in Ottawa and will be making the trip out here in August. It promises to be a fabulous time, with lots of laughter, memories, and family bonding. Scotch Creek 2006, watch for it in August!
