Yesterday I went with Anthony, Danny, and Dustin to go see Corpse Bride, a movie that is worth seeing if you liked Nightmare Before Christmas. Although the name sounds like a horror film, it is an animated feature for the whole family, except I think it would be a little scary for very small children.
Speaking of scary movies for children, I remember seeing a Jim Henson (creator of the Muppets) movie when I was a kid that scared me for years. It was called The Dark Crystal, and it was made with puppets, but it freaked me out. Since it was so stuck in my mind, I decided to rent it a little while ago, and watched it with Rachel. It was so disturbing that she couldn't even watch the whole thing, and I could see how it affected me so much. Here is a link to the trailer, but watch with caution, as it can be a little scary, and should never be shown to kids, or it will haunt them throughout their childhood.
