Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been updating my blog much this week, but I've been busy every morning helping out with the VBS at my church, where Danny and I have been in charge of the games every day. Plus we've had Brittany, Christa, Jeff, Matt, Jessie, and Steve out to help, so it's been a real team effort. The theme for the week is the Serengeti, so the kids have been learning about God and about the animals that live in Africa.
The kids that come to the VBS are pretty mellow in the morning, but after the snack time they're so wired with sugar that they're as hyper as can be, and one little girl even said, "All of our snacks have sugar...maybe we should have more vegetables." Amen to that.
