For anyone living in Vernon, you should check out the free concerts going down at the Vernon library every Thursday night from 7-9. Last night there was a group called Redfish, a local band that reminded me a little of the Tragically Hip. Jeff, Rachel, Zion and I went down there and enjoyed it, because hey, free concert, you can't really lose.
Did anyone hear that the Backstreet Boys are coming to Kelowna to play at Prospera Place on September 4, right before school starts? If you're hankering to pay 70 bucks hear some 30-year olds singing boy band songs, check them out, on their official Never Gone tour. Who's kidding whom...of course they were gone, but they're making a comeback.
