Once again Kal musicians did not disappoint, putting on a great show last night at the Performing Arts Centre. There were some sweet solos by Brittany Bru, Steve Wensley, Megan Price, and it sounded a lot better in that theatre than in the commons room at Kal. Too bad that we had to leave early because of a four-month old who had a hard time sitting for that long, so we had to miss the full band's Star Wars and Pirates of the Carribean.
A big congratulations to Percy and Florence Arrowsmith, who this week celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary, making them the longest married couple ever. They say the secrets to their long marriage are don't sleep on an argument, always share a kiss, and hold hands before going to bed. Great advice, and if Rachel and I can keep doing that until we're both 104, then we'll be able to celebrate our 80th anniversary too.
