Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, full of surprises and sunshine! A bunch of us went to the Vernon Royals lacrosse game on Friday night, what they called the "War on the Floor", and it was a crazy game, really intense, ending in an 8-8 tie. Lacrosse is a rough game, and I now have more respect for all of you who play it.
Rachel would have been outraged with the fights, as they are even harsher than in hockey. In lacrosse, they have more stability on their feet and can get in harder shots than in hockey. Vernon's hardest puncher in this game was Trevor McEachnie, who is listed at 5'10" and 240 pounds. With the nickname "T-Bone", he is actually the trainer for the Vernon Vipers hockey team. June 10 is the next home game for the Royals, and hopefully I'll be able to get Rachel to come along.

Okay, my mistake, June 10 is the game that we went to...the next home game is Sunday, June 19, Father's Day.
