TRICKS AND TRINKETS AND WHATNOT...ALL TOGETHER IN ONE CONVENIENT LOCATION

We should all be proud to be Canadian this week, with the announcement of the NBA's MVP award going to British Columbia's own Steve Nash. The 6'3" point guard from Victoria beat out Shaquille O'Neal to win the award, and his story is inspirational. Coming from Canada, he had only one Division 1 scholarship offer from the US, to Santa Clara University. Out of University, he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns, no. 15 overall, and then was traded to the Dallas Mavericks and this year, back to the Suns. He turned his team around from a 29-53(.354) record last year to a 62-20(.756) record this year, and called up all his teammates to the podium when he accepted the award. Coupled with all his community work, like the Steve Nash Youth Basketball League, Steve is a great role model for all young Canadians. Now that's a team player!

Yeah, okay, it's time for a new pole. Should it be the north pole, or a ski pole, or how about a barber pole? Ooohhh, you mean a "poll". Great, now what should I make it on? Any ideas?

Well sorry Steve, not all of us were spelling bee geeks in school. Didn't they have a nickname for you? Steve White-out? Or something like that because you used white out all the time. Perfectionist (not such a bad thing)
And for the new POLL...WHat is everyone doing for Summer HOlidays...or did we have that one? hmmm just a suggestion.
    Favorite weekend activity...
