Rachel and I had our very first anniversary yesterday, and we were talking about the first year of marriage and all that came along with it. A new city, a new job, lots of new friends, and best of all, beautiful beautiful Zion. They say that the first year of marriage is the hardest, but I don't know how it can get any easier than it already is. I've talked to a lot of people about what it takes to maintain a marriage, and the answer that keeps coming back is Commitment. Some people may say Love, but sometimes you may not feel like you love each other, and that's when Commitment is needed to hold it strong. On the other hand, I think Love is necessary to make a marriage a happy one, and Love and Commitment are good ingredients for a healthy marriage. I've heard a stitistic that 90% of a person's happiness in life is based on whom they marry, and when you think about it, you're going to be spending the rest of your life, every day with that person, so it is probably the most important decision you'll ever make. I'm glad I made a great decision.

What a remarkable couple, I love you guys! It's no wonder Zion is such a beautiful baby, she comes from two of the most outstanding (and might I add stunningly good looking) parents. Congratulations on an amazing happy one year of marriage. You both are defiantly role models to all of us. I hope all the rest of your years together are as magical as the first. Take care and God Bless.

I love you Steve, this past year has definitely been the best of my life so far. I am stoked to spend the rest of my life with you. I am the luckiest girl in the world. In the words of a guy who says decent things in some of his different songs "I tried, but I couldn't hide it" Rachel (your one and only... wife)
