"What's a Wholpin? It's pretty much my favourite animal. It's like a whale and a dolphin mixed...bred for its skills in swimming and eating tuna."
Well folks, we've done it, we've successfully cross-bred a whale and a dolphin, the next biggest scientific achievement since inventing seedless watermelon. And now this wholpin, Kekaimalu, has given birth to a calf that is one-quarter whale and three-quarters dolphin.
I guess with all the hybrid vehicles we have now, why not hybrid marine animals?

Kekaimalu, right, a 19-year-old wholphin, swims with her calf in a training tank at Sealife Park in Honolulu.
