This weekend we went to Kelowna and had some really nice visits with some friends of ours, and our friend Graham was telling us about the story of Lance Armstrong. As most of you know, he is a cancer survivor who has won the Tour de France cycling race six times in a row, and his story has inspired many other cancer survivors and he has raised a lot of money for research. One of the ways he raises money is by selling yellow bracelets with LIVESTRONG written on them, and over 40 million bracelets have been sold so far by the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Based on current statistics, 38% of Canadian women will develop cancer during their lifetimes, and 44% of Canadian men. I just ordered some of these bracelets, because this is a cause that affects all of us in some way.

What a great thing this man is doing for all of us. Steve is right, it does effect all of us in some way or another. May be indirectly or directly, but we should all be aware that it happens and if there is any way at all we can help, we should. Take care of everyone you love and let them know it!
