Sometimes it pays to have a temper tantrum! Here's a story of a Hamilton woman:

HAMILTON (CP) - A down-on-her-luck Hamilton woman has learned how quickly fortunes can change.
Seeking some cash, she tried to sell her CD collection at a used record shop Sunday but was rebuffed, and became so upset she started yelling and crying. That drew the attention of police, who, along with a psychiatric nurse, took the distraught woman to a Tim Hortons to discuss her options.
The 30-year-old woman rolled up the rim of her coffee cup and won a doughnut.
Const. Gary David told her that since she was on a roll, she might as well roll up the rim on his cup.
She did and won a $1,000 cash prize.
The woman offered to split the prize, but David and the nurse declined, saying it "made their day" to see her win.

Now that is one nice police officer, who should be commended for putting others ahead of himself. It always feels good to make someone's day. How are you going to make someone else happy today?
