There's a high school football coach in Oregon who is being investigated for allegedly licking a bloody cut on the knee of one of his players. What's that, you say? Licking a bloody cut? I know that some of you are probably retching right now, but others want to hear more details, like how did this come about, what's the deal?
It turns out that the coach was giving a little pep talk to his team about a coach licking a healing players' wounds so they could get back in the game(?). Then the team members urged the coach to do the same to a bleeding cut on one of the players' knees. I mean, how do you turn that down?
So he did it, and police investigated but the coach was not arrested. "Sometimes there are actions that are socially unacceptable or bizarre that aren't necessarily criminal," said Linn County Sherriff Bavid Burright.
So remember, licking other peoples' bloody wounds is "socially unacceptable", and experts strongly recommend that you should confine yourself to licking only your own cuts.
