It's another sunny Friday in Vernon, the city in which Tirecraft(1968) and Kal Tire(1953) both started, according to my good friend Matt, one of Vernon's rising young tire guys. As I understand, they were successful due to the growth of the forest industry in the area, as all the trucks and forestry equipment needed good tires.
I think the tire shops are probably busy this time of year, as people are switching from their winter tires back to the summer ones. If you need some tires changed, remember that two of Canada's largest tire stores started right here in town, so you're in good hands.
