A big "Congratulations!" goes out today to Miss Merle Norman, Verity Boyce, who was crowned Queen Silver Star on Thursday night. There were fifteen candidates competing in one of Vernon's most prestigious and longstanding traditions, and this just means that Verity will continue to be busy, and will still have a hard time coming out to Young Life events. We wish her all the best, and hey, when we knew she entered the pageant, this is what we expected.
