There is a battle going on in Kelowna...on the Young Life Kelowna web page, Grant has set up a poll, and there are high stakes involved for some of the staff people there.

The poll is, "If YL were to have its own Kelowna Idol, who would win?"

A simple enough question, with the choices being:
-Andrea
-Nathan
-Josh
-Grant
-Amanda

There is some dirty play going on, and this is an e-mail that I received from Andrea, and I quote:

"steve and rachel,
I understand that you had to vote for grant today because he was right
there in front of you but I really think that you shouldn't lead him to
such delusions of musical grandeur. So I expect you can make up for this
by letting all your vernon kids know the only vote is for moi. I realize
that they probably don't visit the kelowna website but think of this as
creative contact work.

Now if you ask me, that is some dirty play. In all honesty, I voted for Nathan; I find him very entertaining, even if he isn't as musically talented as Andrea. Plus he wouldn't stoop to Andrea's level of grovelling.

But in this democratic world, I encourage you all to exercise your free vote, visit www.ylkelowna.com (polls close Monday) and may the best man or woman win.
